Placido Domingo's 'Cyrano de Bergerac'

Franco Alfano's (same artist known as the one to finalize Puccini's Turandot) opera had a great successful opening two weeks ago in the Madrid Royal Theater.

Long time forgotten, the tenor and orchest director discovered this masterpiece in Casa Ricordi's archives in Milan. After reading this Ionesco version, he decided to play the opera first in Paris and now in Madrid, which has proven to be a success after 55 minutes of applauding crowd during one of his performances.

Highly recommended.

Unlike Le Corbusier our trip started in Athens and will continue to Istambul!
Hereby a glance of our visit. We were surprised of few things:
1.Acropolis reconstruction; it is our opinion that splitting the old pieces ad putting them in the museum provokes demotivation in visitors. Acropolis lost its personality
2. Bernard Tschumi building, a museum duplicating the preexistant acropolis without success.
